India annexes Nepal due to a succession crisis threatening to devolve into a civil war. Given that the Nepalese Government was Pro-China, Beijing recalls their Ambassador for a few months…

Apple officially opens its new headquarters in Cupertino, California. The move from the old HQ in San Francisco is complete.

Mindanao votes to join the Philippines in a highly contested vote. There are accusations of vote rigging by pro-Philippine forces.
