“We've been spotted,” Lady Me stated.

“We have?” Ella asked as she started panicking again.

“Yes,” Lady Me answered. “But please remain calm and follow my lead.”

Excerpt from: The Memorial Dance Incident
It was an ordinary day at Lawndale High School. Brittany Taylor was bored. Just painting what one saw wasn’t interesting. She preferred it if it was more interesting. She looked at Jane Lane’s picture. “Why are the people covered in blood?” she asked Jane.

“Because that’s my interpretation,” Jane explained.

“Wait…” Brittany said. “Didn’t Ms. Defoe say to copy what we saw?”

“No, she just said to look around and paint what you see here, in the classroom,” Jane explained.

Riker and Data looked around the marketplace. “Have you noticed anything unusual?” the former asked a short while later.

“I can’t see as well as Geordi, sir, but so far the material seems rather ordinary,” Data answered.

“Construction records?”

“Construction records show this to be almost identical to that which Starfleet uses.”

“Yar to Riker. We’ve found something interesting. We’re in a passageway directly under the station, sir.”

“But these tunnel walls are something I’ve never seen before, sir,” La Forge reported.

“How are you examining them?” Riker asked.

La Forge tried to understand what he was seeing as he also considered Riker’s question.

“That was expected, Doctor. Preparations have been made.”

“Of course,” the Doctor groused. “However, I ask you to surrender before they get here.”

“No!” the other said as more drones entered the office. “You can’t get them all, Doctor.”

There was an alarm, different to the previous one. “Sir, the Unified Intelligence Taskforce is approaching…”

Star Trek – The Next Generation – After Minos
Lieutenant Geordi La Forge looked at the Saucer Section on the viewscreen. He was ready for the mission to be over. He glanced at the two young officers in front of him. “Ready?” he asked them.

Both nodded.

“Initiate reconnection sequence,” he ordered.

“Aye, Lieutenant,” Ensign T’Su said.
A New Generation – Strange New World
It was a normal day aboard the Enterprise. It certainly was in Ten Forward, where Cadet Robin Leftler was reading a book about Termite species across the Federation, while eating soup. “How can you eat that stuff?” her fellow cadet, Ethan Collier, asked.

“It’s healthier than what you’re eating,” Leftler snarked back, while glancing at Collier’s carbohydrate-loaded meal.

“At least it tastes good,” Collier returned.

“I guess it takes a discriminating palate to appreciate Vulcan cuisine.” She was about to say more, when she noticed that Enterprise had dropped out of warp and entered orbit around an M-class planet.

“I thought we were close to a nebula,” Collier stated.

“I wonder if anyone lives there,”

On the Bridge, Captain Jean-Luc Picard was wondering the same thing. “Data.”

“The atmosphere consists of 18% Oxygen, 80% Nitrogen and 2% other gases,” Lieutenant Commander Data reported.

“Close to Earth,” Lieutenant Geordi La Forge commented.

“Life signs?” the Captain asked.

“The planet has diverse ecologies in many different biomes, but there is no humanoid life, nor any indication of high technology,” Data reported.

Excerpt from:
“Hello, Doctor. Can I join you two?”

“Feel free, Geordi.”

He sat down. “Do you think we’ve been wasting our time?” he asked.

“What do you mean?” Beverly’s son, Wesley, asked.

“I mean, it’s nearly two weeks since we started back from Deneb IV, and we haven’t found anything.”

“It could that the areas of space we’re going through are less active than others closer to the Federation,” Beverly added.

“I have checked our course,” Wesley said. “And we are avoiding star clusters and instead going by isolated stars.”

Excerpt from: Horrors of the Delta Quadrant
Voyager jumped to warp without difficulty. “The storm is still causing some turbulence,” Paris reported. “But it’s minor. It’ll be an hour until we’re out of the nebula.”

“Understood,” Janeway said.

“Right,” Chakotay said. “You can’t stay here. You need to move to either your assigned quarters, the Mess Hall, or one of the lounges.”

“Do as he says,” Kes said.

“I’ll go to my quarters,” Hana decided. “Where you can tell me more about the Ocampa.”

“There’s not much to say,” Kes said.

“Maybe not, but I would like to know.”

Even so, the refugees took a while to move, as Voyager still shuddered.

In Engineering, an alarm came up on the Master Systems Display. “What?” Torres asked herself as she responded to the alarm.

“It looks like an EPS conduit is malfunctioning,” Ensign Vorik commented.

“I know that, Ensign!” Torres shot back.

Excerpt from: Clara Oswald Never Existed
“Well, what?” the Doctor asked.

“Look at them! My boys!”

“Cybermen in broad daylight? You think people won’t notice?” Indeed, people were noticing, and taking selfies…

“Photos with the big metal men, one pound,” Missy said.

The Doctor sighed as people threw coins into her hat. ‘Pudding Brains!’ he thought.

“New York, Paris, Rome, Marrakesh, Brisbane, Glasgow. Everywhere. Anywhere!”

“More power has been routed to sickbay, Doctor,” he said.

“Thanks, Lieutenant.”

La Forge came over to Troi. “How is …”

“He or she isn’t well, but then I probably shouldn’t have brought it aboard,” Troi said.

“You couldn’t have known.”

“That’s certainly true. I was acting under impulse.”

“Most people do in those places,” La Forge agreed.

“I better get going,” Troi said.

In his ready room, Captain Picard heard a squeak. It seemed Enterprise was still having ‘teething problems’. ‘I can hardly concentrate if there are random noises in my ready room!’ he thought. The door chime rang. “Come!”

There was a surprise when she got back to the Taylor mansion. Kevin was waiting. 'Of course!' she thought. She took out her phone and called the Lanes. Jane answered. “Hello?”

“Daria here.”

“That is still quite strange. Is there a problem?”

“Kevin is here.”

“I'll put Brittany on then.”

“Thanks.”

“Anywhere!” Martha said.

“Earth. That's where my Doctor is likely to be,” Felicia decided.

“Wait!” Aialah called out.

“What?” Alpha asked.

“Not him!” Aialah said. Too late, as Beta had already said the command to transfer, so he had transferred. His appearance scared Aialah.

“Is something wrong?” Beta asked.

“Sorry, I'll explain later. Ask Gamma to come,” Alpha said.
