Daniela begins planting the food seeds she had found in the pantry, in the yards around the house.
She also begins converting regolith into soil in order to expand the gardens that she had brought with her.
In Omaha, the Turner twins think over (and discuss with each other) their behaviour. (Although they still associate with Katie and Anna as they always had.)
Lillie and Billie prepared for school. They had talked about the last two days. Both of them had thought about what Tammy had said. Was it true? That they had always been mean to Daniela?
As they had breakfast. Their mother noticed that they were unusually quiet. She said so. “Things at school,” Lillie started.
“…are changing,” Billie continued.
“What do you mean?”
“Because of what happened with that house,” the twins said in unison.
“Of course.”
Lillie and Billie arrived at school. Both of them had been in thought. They had given each other reassuring looks, but hadn’t spoken since they left home. They sighed in unison as they entered the building. “We…” they both said, then stopped.
Lillie let go of Billie’s hand and raised an eyebrow, signalling that Billie could go first.
“We should talk about this?” Billie said.
“I agree,” Lillie said.
However, the bell for homeroom then rang. “At homeroom,” Billie decided.
Lillie nodded, before they took each other’s hands again and ran towards homeroom.
Miss Elissa Landry was surprised to see the Turner twins enter the classroom in a rush. “Lillian and Wilhelmina Turner!” she chided. “You aren’t that late. No running in the corridors.”
“Sorry!” the twins said, before they went to their seats.
Once seated in their usual spot, Lillie and Billie turned to each other. “Behaviour,” both said. They both remembered calling Daniela a ‘Fluffy’. “Did we cause the event?” Billie asked.
“By calling her a Fluffy?” Lillie asked.
Billie nodded.
“It is possible,” Lillie conceded. She looked to Billie and knew she thought so too. “Are Katie…” she began.
“And Anna,” Billie continued. “Bad influences?”
George Wallace makes an announcement regarding the recent event in Omaha. That he would prevent any such events occurring in Alabama if he’s re-elected.

Daniela uses the Ham Radio equipment in the house to broadcast a message inviting others to leave Earth (and giving information on how she did it.)
Daniela begins to explore the landscape around the house. (She doesn't go too far.)
The FBI begins to investigate the possibility of more Omaha events.
Another female mage at Millard High School finds herself targeted more by Katie Neverton’s bullying.
Coincident with President Ferdinand Marcos declaring Martial Law, Two Omaha Events are reported in the Philippines. (The Mages involved flee to Guam,)

George McGovern makes his own announcement regarding the Omaha Event. That there would be no such Events under his Administration.
Churches throughout the World discuss the ‘Mage’ and/or ‘Fluffy’ threat.
The British Government announces that an investigation into the possibility of Mages in the Isles will start in the coming week.
The Turner Twins again discuss what happened at school on the day of the Event.

Tammy Brown, having heard about the telling off, asks the Turner Twins about what actually happened. (They fil her in on what had actually happened.)
