Convergence on Lawndale - Part 10
Sep. 23rd, 2023 06:57 pmThe Doctor didn’t have to wait long before the robots came along. One looked like an ordinary Maine Coon. The other like an ordinary young woman.
“Come out, intruder,” the latter said in a normal sounding voice.
“I’m coming out,” the Doctor said.
“And the other two,” the robot woman said.
“What other two?”
“The girl, and the boy with the Naked Mole Rat.”
“Oh, them.” the Doctor said. “They’re not with me.”
“They followed you in.”
“Wherever they are, they are closer to whatever device is interfering with the electricity in Lawndale.”
“It isn’t something that’s dangerous,” the robot said. “And you are?”
“You can call me the Doctor.”
“The Doctor…” the robot considered.
“And your name is?”
“Kaelyn.”
“Kaelyn,” the Doctor considered. He wasn’t sure that she was telling the truth.
